Of stress nightmares, the usefulness of suffering, and having no clue what’s happening.

  1. We have the world’s pettiest fight at 3:30am, after which I sleep in 30-minutes spurts, culminating in a paralyzing nightmare about nothing at all.
  2. I’m getting used to the sensation of standing on moving ground.
  3. If I build it, with they actually come? Seriously, I need some numbers.
  4. What life can I speak here?
  5. It would be nice to work in the same room with another human, even (especially) if we never acknowledge one another’s presence.
  6. A quick dip into the house to swap laundry, then on to the next one.
  7. We talk with the kind of blunt honesty only permissible between people who have been there. It’s refreshing and scary and beautiful and healing.
  8. It’s too early to know if the burgeoning certainties in the recesses of my mind are discernment or deception.
  9. The busy streak continues.
  10. I don’t know what You’re doing, but I’m here for it. I’m always here for it.
